Meet The Instructors

Jenn

My name is Jennifer Morgan, and I am a 200 Hr RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) through Yoga Alliance. I found my way to yoga many years ago but did not fall in love with it until more recently. Yoga finds you when you need it. Being a model for many years I had been struggling with an unhealthy body image. When I started practicing regularly in May 2013, I realized yoga helped me to alleviate stress, and to not focus on my body image but rather my strength internally and externally. It completely changed my way of thinking. For the first time in a long time I felt passion instead of self criticism. From then on I knew I wanted and needed to share this gift with others. Upon graduating from my yoga teacher training, and pondering where I wanted to end up, I remembered the calm and peace that the water always brought me during turbulent times. So, I went to the beach, and realized this is where I needed to be. That was the spark that ignited to create Rochester Yoga in the Park. If you feel most calm when you hear the waves of a lake or ocean around you, come join me for my yoga class series. I’m here to help you ROC yoga in the park!

TiffanyTiffany

My name is Tiffany Weil, and I am a 200 Hr RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) through Yoga Alliance. I am a Colorado Native,  living in Fairport, NY.  I have been living in the Rochester area for over 12 years now and feel so lucky to call this home.  Growing up in the mid west, I definitely harbor a passion for the outdoors. Although I do miss the majestic Rocky Mountains, I have found tremendous beauty in the scenery that upstate New York has to offer.  The lush green grass, even through the winter months, and rich fall colors are only a few of the things that keep me rooted here.I found yoga my senior year in high school, while trying to get a head start on my college credits. I attended a Hatha yoga class at the local community college and instantly became hooked.  What a fantastic way to de-stress, relax, and get fit! When I moved to NY with my boyfriend, now husband, I started practicing yoga at one of the major yoga studios in the area and found that it helped smooth my transition to a new place.  Not knowing anyone but him, it helped me add a little cohesiveness to my life. In 2013, I made the commitment to myself to become a yoga instructor so I could share my passion with others.   What better way to combine two of my passions, than to put yoga outdoors, in the beautiful scenery that the Rochester parks have to offer. And hence, Rochester Yoga In The Park was created. Please come join me and see if this is a passion of yours, too!
