Anyone can do yoga. It doesn’t matter how fit, flexible, or strong you are. Come join us! Rejuvenate your mind and body in the fresh air of the beautiful Rochester parks. Roc Yoga will be taught at a moderate level that will be attainable by all. Although this is not a beginner class, all levels are welcome. The beauty of a vinyasa flow is that the class is taught to move to the pace of their own breath with modifications offered as needed. This means that everyone will have a practice that fits their own unique needs, whether they be advanced or not.
Please fill out a waiver and bring it to your first class. You only need to do this once.
By signing this waiver you agree and acknowledge that in the practice of yoga, you are fully aware that participation in this activity involves risks and accept all the risks of participating. You consent that you are in proper physical condition to participate in yoga, and will notify the teacher if you have any injuries. You are responsible for your physical limitations and are sufficiently self-aware to stop physical activity before you become ill or injured. As teachers we are not responsible for any weather conditions or outdoor factors that may affect your practice.

The Type of Yoga
ROC Yoga In The Park classes are a Vinyasa style flow with a touch of flare. Vinyasa flow is an active physical practice that stimulates the rising of the body’s core temperature, activating the muscles in the body to not only burn calories, but build strength, and also quiet the mind.
Our Charlotte Beach classes will take place at Ontario Beach Park, on the beach (if looking from Beach Ave) to the left of the Roger Robach Community Center (this is the far end of the beach closest to the houses). This is on the west end of the beach. Classes are Sundays 9:00-10:15AM June 28/ July 5th, July 26th/August 2nd, August 23/30th. The location on the beach is marked by an “X” on the map. Classes are Saturdays 9:15-10:30AM and held for 5 weeks. Saturday July 4,11,18,25, August 1. Our City classes will take place at Highland Park behind the Highland Bowl off Robinson Drive. The ‘spot’ is approximately at the center of Robinson Drive which starts and Mt. Hope and Runs to South Ave. There will be a sign at the location marking our spot. Map
